This floor was the main residence, which housed the stone carver Joanet and his wife Isabel
It has many interesting details. A mecanical door bell, modernistic coat hanger, small handmade shelfs, and an original 1900 walk-in-closet for the clothes are some examples. It also contained a maids chamber outside the flat, which has been included in the floor plan.
The rooms have their original tiled floors, and each room has its own pattern.
Some claim that the preciously carved balcony was intented for the nearby Poblet monastery restoration, as Joanet had worked on that project. In any case, it is amazing and so is it’s view of the village and the castle. We added a southern big private terrace with a dining table for 6 people, and a little corner with a bench for two, where you can enjoy a silent glass of wine in the evening, or just the view.
